i hope this isn't the longest comment ever, BUT... do you have a theme for your retreat? is it all weekend? ours is friday night and saturday until lunch. we have a theme to work with and our church hires someone to come speak. this year the theme was "let your light shine". they decorated with paper lanterns and we did a craft, there's always singing and some form of entertainment-this year it was easy games like a scavenger hunt with your table using items from our purses-things that all ages can do and nothing to single anyone out or embarrass people :) i can't remember last year's theme, but one was "all dressed up" talking about characteristics we as christian women should "put on". they decorated with hats/shoes...everything was pink, black and white- it was really cute. anyway- i hope that helps you! feel free to email me if you have any more questions :) jbobryant@msn.com
